How do I know if I need a new heating or cooling system?
If you have a heating or cooling system in your home that requires constant repairs, can’t heat or cool your home properly, causes high monthly energy bills or is 10 years or older, we would highly recommend you replace it. Like many appliances, your heating or cooling system won’t operate at top efficiency when it ages past that 10-year mark. Plus, excessive repairs could actually end up costing you more money in the long run than a replacement.
-
Is there a diagnostic fee?
Air We Go charges a $75 diagnostic fee. This fee covers many quick fixes that do not require additional parts, refrigerant, etc. If your technician needs to order a part or conduct a more extensive repair, he or she will provide you with a detailed estimate to review and approve before work begins.
-
How often should I replace my air ducts?
Air ducts should be replaced about every 20 years—sometimes sooner depending on a home’s cleanliness and the service history of the air conditioner. If you maintain the air conditioner and the cleanliness of your home, the ducts stay cleaner and last longer.
-
Does indoor air quality really matter?
The short answer is: Yes. The long answer is: If you don’t pay much attention to it, you are putting the health of you and your family at risk. This is because indoor air quality can be two to five times and, in some cases, almost 100 times worse than the air we breathe outside.
-
How can I protect my heating & cooling investment?
The best way to ensure the long-term performance of your heating or cooling system is to schedule regular inspections. (Every 6 months)
-
How often should I have my heating & cooling systems serviced?
There is no denying that proper heating or cooling system maintenance improves the lifespan and energy efficiency of your equipment. Air We Go recommends servicing your heating or cooling equipment twice per year to make sure your systems are performing safely and efficiently.
-
Am I eligible for manufacturer rebates or federal tax credits for my new, high-efficiency heating or cooling system?

How can I tell if my heating or cooling system isn’t working properly?
Check to see if it is making any strange noises or if it is heating or cooling all the areas in your home. Does the system take a long time to heat up or cool down? Also, notice if your utility bills have increased in the past months for no obvious reason. If you notice any of these signs, contact Air We Go and we will send one of our certified technicians to inspect it for you.
