Professional AC installation. Proper sizing. Built for South Florida homes.
Installing a new AC system is a major investment in your home. Air We Go provides professional AC installation throughout Palm Beach County with proper system sizing, Manual J load calculations and equipment selected for your home’s cooling needs. Every installation is completed to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications and Florida code requirements.
A residential AC system is a long term investment. Getting the design right matters just as much as choosing the equipment. Proper sizing, airflow and duct design help your new system cool evenly, control humidity and operate efficiently in South Florida’s climate.
We don’t sell off a thumb rule sized by square footage. Every Air We Go installation quote starts with a Manual J load calculation that accounts for your home’s actual orientation, window area, insulation, ceiling height and infiltration. That tells us the real cooling load which is almost never what a quick walk through estimator would guess.
From there, we design the rest of the system to match, including properly sized return air, insulated ductwork when needed, thermostat controls and equipment designed for South Florida’s heat and humidity. R 8 insulated ductwork, a thermostat with proper humidity control, and where it makes sense, a variable speed inverter for the kind of quiet, tight humidity control Florida actually needs.
Install day is structured. Drop cloths from the door to the work area, old equipment removed and hauled away, pad re set and leveled, new equipment secured to meet applicable Florida Building Code requirements, refrigerant evacuated and weighed in, system commissioned and the readings recorded on your warranty record. You get a walkthrough at the end and a binder with every document load calc, equipment cut sheets, warranty registration, and the closed permit.
Higher SEER2 ratings can reduce energy use, but efficiency is only part of choosing the right AC system. In South Florida, proper sizing, airflow and humidity control matter just as much. We help homeowners compare single stage, two stage and variable speed systems based on comfort, efficiency and budget.
Our installation quotes clearly show what is included, such as required electrical work, drain protection, thermostat controls, permitting, inspections and any duct or plenum work needed for the system. Compare quotes line by line so you know exactly what you’re getting. a few things that low ball quotes ‘forget’: new R 8 insulated supply plenum, mastic sealed connections (not just foil tape), a code compliant electrical disconnect, a new condensate float switch, a quality thermostat with humidity control, and the permit + final inspection. If a competing quote is dramatically lower, check that list line by line that’s usually where the gap lives.
A complete residential install typically runs $7,900 to $14,000 depending on tonnage, SEER2 rating, brand, and ductwork condition. A straight 3 ton 15.2 SEER2 single stage swap on healthy ductwork is at the low end; a 5 ton variable speed Daikin or Lennox system with new ductwork is at the top. We’ll quote the math in writing.
Most one system installs are completed in a single day. Two zone or full ductwork replacement jobs run 2 3 days. We confirm the timeline before you sign so there are no surprises.
Florida requires a minimum 15.2 SEER2 for new systems. We usually recommend 16 18 SEER2 for the best balance of upfront cost and monthly electric savings. Variable speed (20+ SEER2) makes sense on larger homes where humidity control is the real prize.
0% financing is available for up to 24 months for qualified customers, with longer-term financing options also available.
